Meet Celeste

Celeste is an actor, comedian, writer and a bloody big deal online.

Hailed as the “Australian Queen of Comedy”, Celeste’s original celebrity parody Instagram account has attracted over 8.1 million followers. In 2020, she won the AACTA for Favourite Comedy Performer of the Decade and in 2021, took out a Webby Special Achievement award.

Celeste won the ‘Funniest Lady on Instagram’ Award 2017 on WhoHaha.com; a digital platform co-founded by actor, director, producer, Elizabeth Banks which showcases women in comedy around the world. In 2019 she was included in Variety Magazine ‘Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch’ Awards.

She hosted 2019 The LA Fashion Awards and has appeared on the cover of Vogue Portugal, Vogue Australia and InStyle magazines.

Celeste’s one woman show; Celeste Barber Challenge Accepted! premiered in Sydney in June 2017 and has gone on to three sell out seasons in the US. Her New York show at The Gramercy was recorded for her first Showtime special before continuing with a sell-out debut season in the UK and Europe. This show then returned to Australia and New Zealand in September 2019 culminating in a sold-out performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Celeste’s memoir; Challenge Accepted! was released in Australia in September 2018, with UK release following shortly after. Challenge Accepted! was shortlisted for the ABIA 2019 Biography Book of The Year. Celeste’s first children’s book “Celeste the Giraffe Loves to Laugh” was also released in 2019.

Celeste has just released her second season of her Luminary Media podcast; Celeste & Her Best with podcast collaborator, Thomas Campbell.

Her many guest appearances include Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Jimmy Kimmel, Interview with Andrew Denton, Lights Out with David Spade, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, The Wendy Williams Show and HARRY!: with Harry Connick Jr.

She has also collaborated made out with Tom Ford as part of his 2018 "Boys and Girls" campaign at 2018 New York Fashion week.

Celeste is married to Hot Husband, has two full on, excellent, hilarious boys who are obsessed with their two wonderful stepsisters.
